MYTH 1 : BRUSHING HARDER CLEANS BETTER

Many people try to brush harder to clean off the deposits around their teeth. Instead of helping in maintaining hygiene, it actually does more damage. The harder the brushing, more trauma is endured by the tooth enamel and gums. Many people think brushing harder will reduce cavities and tooth decay, but it is not true. These can lead to other problems such as wear of enamel, the outermost layer of your tooth.

MYTH 2 : KIDS DON’T NEED DENTAL CARE AS THEIR TEETH WILL FALL OFF.

MYTH 4 : BLEEDING GUMS IS NORMAL.

Bleeding from gums is a sign that indicates an underlying condition of your gums, they may be irritated or inflamed. Color of healthy gums differs from the color of inflamed gums, so in case your gums are swollen and red, it is an indicator that something is irritating it. To ignore bleeding from gums may lead to gum disease which may be followed by loosening of teeth, bad breath and loss of healthy structure around the tooth. MYTH 5 : CLEANING WILL DAMAGE MY TEETH.
